The creation and upkeep of a website showcasing the endeavors of Off Hand Co., an inclusive film company to promote and showcase their work.
The Project:
Off Hand Co, an inclusive female-owned film company, sought a modern and professional website design that remained true to their unique identity.
Prototype Development:
The initial stage involved creating desktop, mobile, and tablet wireframes to ensure seamless cohesion. Collaborating closely with filmmakers, we curated representative content from past projects while maintaining a cohesive narrative.
Challenges:
One of the primary challenges faced was the hosting platform. I innitially wanted to custom build the entire site from scratch to allow custom functionality. With an urgent need for the website to support an upcoming email campaign, I decided to adapt the design to Wix, and was able to have the site up and running within a remarkably short timeframe of 4 hours. This decision allowes me the flexibility to revisit the project later and incorporate custom functionalities to meet Off Hand Co's specific requirements.
Outcome:
The website redesign effectively conveyed Off Hand Co's vision and objectives, resulting in a 200% increase in Average Session Duration and a doubling of Pages per Session.
